Transcripts of the monetary policymaking body of the Federal Reserve from 2002–2008.

The loss of the securitization market is really important, so I think this facility is a very important innovation. My question is, How important were the conduits to this market, and how confident are we that there will be structures to bring back the securitization market? Or are we basically bridging to these things going on bank balance sheets or other types of financial intermediaries? How do you see this? I guess the question is, From your perspective, what is this a bridge to?
